The farmstead on which the caravan park lies existed in Saxon times and is mentioned in the Domesday Book. The origins of the Hall date from 1604.

The park is situated half a mile from the town of Boroughbridge across the river Ure in Langthorpe village. The park takes a limited number of touring vans and tents since much of the area is used to space out the static caravans. The park has a games room incorporating a snooker table for adults and pool & dart for the younger family members should the weather dictate!
